Connecting Windows Cloud Server
You can manage your Windows Cloud Server using RDP. To connect Windows server using RDP, you can follow below steps.
- Obtain the IP address and PORT number of your Windows VPS from your cloudtreno client area to check your mail for details.
- From your local computer, click on the Start Menu and search for "Remote Desktop Connection."
- Open the Remote Desktop Connection application.
- In the Remote Desktop Connection window, enter the IP address with PORT number ( such as 11.11.111.11:4544) of your VPS in the "Computer" field.
- Click on the "Show Options" button to expand the Remote Desktop Connection window.
- Enter your VPS username and password in the respective fields.
- If desired, you can save your login credentials for future connections by clicking on the "Save As" button and entering a name for the connection file.
- Click on the "Connect" button to initiate the connection.
- If a warning message appears stating that the remote computer's identity cannot be verified, click "Yes" to proceed.
- Once connected, you should see your Windows VPS desktop environment in a new window on your local computer.
Provide Server IP and Port, for example xx.xx.xx.xx:1233 where 1233 is the port number.
Contact your service provider for IP and port number.
