The Process to use Microsoft M365 and Zoho Hybrid Mail?

To use Hybrid solution between M365 and Zoho, point your MX record to M365, so that all inbound mails should be routed through the Microsoft o365 service.  Once AntiVirus and Antispam checked done, M0365 will deliver mails if users exist in M365 otherwise it will exchange mail to Zoho mail server. When Zoho user send mails by default it will route mail to M365 for no exitance Zoho user so that M0365 receive the mail from Zoho.

1. First of all , Classify Microsoft 365 (M365) and Zoho users based on profile and usage etc.
2. If you are already using M365 then keep that as primary MX (mail exchange).
3. Create an email ID from the Zoho panel for those you want to give Zoho
4. Migrate email from M365 to Zoho if you want any user already using Microsoft and want to use Zoho. (CloudTreno will support on migration)
5. Setup mail route in M365 to deliver nonexistent mail to Zoho MX Server (Cloudtreno Team will guide)
6. For Zoho users use IMAP to configure Outlook / Mobile
7. No setting required from Zoho side.

Whats is the Migration process if i wants to migrate few id from hybrid email migration office 365 to Zoho Mail?

Below are the steps to follow:

1. Create email ID from the Zoho panel for those you want to run under Zoho under the same domain. This will include the sign up, domain verification, license activation and then user creation.
2. Ensure the Size of mail in M365 matches Zoho plan. For example, If the Zoho plan starts from 5GB of mailbox size then the M365 ID size should be less than 5GB. Otherwise, choose the hider plan if you want a higher mailbox size.
3. Since the current provider is M365 we can make you of API based migration for M365. You may refer to this help resource for the steps.
4. Once migration is done we will route emails Zoho and will disable Microsoft ID. Once ID is disabled mail will route that id to Zoho.
5. Once the migration is completed and the ID is deleted from Microsoft, you can use the Zoho mail id using POP/IMAP and Webmail.
